I am not a large person, but the pressure I was able to exert to press out the orange juice simply overwhelmed the gears on this manual machine, even though the gears are metal; in both instances, the gear was stripped, the second time in well under a year.At $50 a whack, you are better off with a cheap electronic juicer.
