(More customer reviews)The shipping costs certainly are steep, I concur with another reviewer.But the quality of the product is top-notch.And since I couldn't find it locally, and I needed one, I jumped off the bridge and purchased it, along with an equally excellent brush for mushrooms (with much softer bristles, of course).
This brush has just the right texture and strength of bristles to thoroughly clean a potato while at the same time treating it with care.It does not damage the surface in any way.
It is attractive with beige colored bristles, a brown casing, and a faux marble lid.It's small and easily handled, and rinses out well.
Considering that I ordered the mushroom brush as well (equally good by the way, with firm but softer rust colored bristles just right for cleaning mushrooms), the two items equalled $11.84. The shipping/handling costs equalled $13.60, for a total cost of $25.44. Since I will be using these for a long time, it is worth it to me because they are top quality products. It was sent FedEx ground standard.
I don't think one could go wrong with any of the Clipper brushes.But the shipping costs do make one wince.
